Home of the Old School

SkierNet.com is the online skiing and ski area guide designed by skiers. It provides quick, organized access to ski area information, key statistics and an honest description. You get highlights and criticisms, some history and background, then you can link straight to the ski area's website. This site reviews every known public ski area in each state, from community rope tows to mega resorts. The links on the left column: how-tos, tips, waxing and tune-up instructions, mondo size charts, etc. are designed to help all from the novice through the double-black expert in a simple, easy-to-understand format. Click on the map below to join your host, veteran skier Rick Bolger, on an "old school" tour of U.S. ski areas.

  • Indemnified Bindings
Until the 2012-2013 indemnfified list is ready, you need to limp along with 2011-2012. Next time you see a factory rep, tell them how much you appreciate the fact that ski binding manufacturers and retailers do their best to keep this secret and create consumer mistrust.
  • Steep is Steep
Skiernet is developing a chart to help you compare the steepest trails in the USA by degree of pitch, and length. It's a work in progress, by no means complete.
  • Meet the Team
These are the guys and gals who make Skiernet.com what it is. Shred on...carve the cord...or whatever.
